The beaches along the coastline of Elota are Ceuta Beach and Tempehuaya Bay. Ceuta Beach is 8 kms. west of La Cruz and it is the place that most locals visit because of the landscape and the great seafood provided by the many stands on the beach. There is a campground at Ceuta Beach for the protection of the marine turtle that started working since 1979 with the purpose of the preservation of this endangered specie. municipality of Elota with its principal city "La Cruz de Elota"
